
Bhopal, Aug 13 (IANS) The Madhya Pradesh government has notified the schedule for the 2027 board examinations, with Class 12 exams beginning on February 17 and Class 10 examinations from February 24, according to an official notification issued on Thursday.
The Class 12 main examination will continue till March 19, while the Class 10 examination will end on March 18.
Examinations for both classes will be held from 9 a.m. to noon.
Students will have to reach the examination centre by 8 a.m. and the examination hall by 8.30 a.m.
No student will be allowed to enter after 8.45 a.m.
The question paper will be given at 8.45 a.m. for reading and answer booklets will be distributed at 8.55 a.m.
For Class 10, the first examination on February 24 will include language subjects, Drawing, Vocal/Instrumental Music, Tabla-Pakhawaj and Computer.
NSQF subjects and Artificial Intelligence will be held on February 25.
Hindi, Mathematics, English, Sanskrit, Science and Social Science papers are scheduled for March 2, 5, 9, 12, 15 and 18, respectively. Urdu will be held on February 27.
The Class 12 examination will begin with Biotechnology, Vocal/Instrumental Music and Tabla-Pakhawaj on February 17. Urdu and Marathi will be held on February 18, Sanskrit on February 20, and NSQF, Physical Education and Artificial Intelligence on February 22.
Hindi and English papers are scheduled for February 23 and 26.
The remaining Class 12 papers include Informatics Practices on March 1, Sociology on March 3, Physics/Economics and other subjects on March 4, Biology on March 8, Political Science on March 11, Chemistry/History/Business Studies and other subjects on March 13, and Mathematics on March 16. Vocational and elective subjects will be held on March 17 and 19.
The state government has also notified practical examinations.
Class 12 practicals will be conducted from February 1 to March 19, while Class 10 practicals will be held from June 11 to June 30, 2027.
Practical examinations may be conducted on holidays if required.
The second examination for Class 12 will be held from June 11 to June 30, while the Class 10 second examination will run from June 15 to June 30.
Subject-wise dates have been specified in the notification.
The main examinations for the two-year Diploma in Pre-School Education course will also begin on February 17.
First-year papers are scheduled for February 17, 20, 23 and 25, and second-year papers for February 18, 22, 24 and 26.
The state government said examinations would be held on the notified dates even if a government or local holiday falls during the examination period.
However, the dates or timings may be changed if required, with information to be issued through official channels.
