Karnataka Opposition Leader Rejects Allegations of Personal Attack Over Kolar Speech

Bengaluru: Karnataka Legislative Council Leader of Opposition Chalavadi Narayanaswamy has accused some people of twisting his remarks at an event in Kolar to create a controversy.

Expressing displeasure over the reports, Narayanaswamy clarified that his comments were directed at the Congress party and what he described as a state of anarchy under its government. He said he had not personally attacked or insulted any individual.

He alleged that his statement was being misrepresented to give rise to an unnecessary controversy.

Reiterating his position, Narayanaswamy said his political opposition was directed against the Congress party and not any individual. He maintained that he had not targeted anyone personally in his speech.
