HPCL invites applications for 608 Graduate Apprentice Trainee posts

New Delhi: Hindustan Petroleum Corporation Limited (HPCL) has announced recruitment for 608 Graduate Apprentice Trainee posts across engineering disciplines.

According to the official notification, the selection will be based purely on academic merit. There will be no written examination or interview. Candidates shortlisted on the basis of marks secured in graduation will be called for document verification in a 1:5 ratio. The apprenticeship will be for one year, during which selected candidates will receive industry exposure and practical training.

Eligibility criteria
Applicants must hold a BE/BTech degree in Civil, Mechanical, Electrical or Instrumentation Engineering. Only candidates who completed their degree on or after April 1, 2023 are eligible. A minimum of 60% marks is required for General, OBC (NCL) and EWS categories, while SC, ST and PwBD candidates must have secured at least 50%. The age limit is 18 to 25 years, with relaxation applicable for reserved categories as per government norms.

Stipend details
Selected candidates will receive a monthly stipend of ₹25,000, comprising ₹20,500 from HPCL and ₹4,500 through Central DBT support.

How to apply
The application process is entirely online and no fee is payable. Candidates must first register on the NATS 2.0 portal before applying through the official HPCL websites — hindustanpetroleum.com or jobs.hpcl.co.in.

The application process commenced on February 16 and will remain open until March 2.
