New Delhi: India’s future mobility sector may soon see vehicles taking to the skies, with Almora-based young inventor Ravi Tamta successfully testing a single-seater flying car prototype developed under his startup, HAPIDA SKYNEX.
The prototype test has drawn attention as an example of indigenous innovation and the growing technological capabilities of young Indian entrepreneurs. The BJP highlighted the development in a social media post, describing it as a reflection of the talent, technical thinking and innovative spirit of the youth of New India.
The development comes amid growing global interest in flying cars and advanced air-mobility solutions aimed at transforming the way people travel in congested urban areas.
The BJP also credited the support of the Central government for encouraging innovation and emerging technologies among young entrepreneurs. It said the achievement reflected the spirit of developing indigenous technologies while encouraging young innovators to think beyond conventional boundaries.
