Chennai, June 8 (IANS) Actor Chethan Cheenu, who has done risky action sequences in director Shankar Sarathi’s upcoming action thriller ‘Valluvan’, has now disclosed to IANS that while shooting for a particular dangerous stunt sequence in the film, he felt for a minute that he was about to die.

In an exclusive interview to IANS, Chethan Cheenu, who is also playing the lead in well known producer K T Kunjumon’s ‘Gentleman 2’, said, ” ‘Valluvan’ is based on a real life incident. I have done the stunt sequences in this film without a body double. Two sequences were risky.”

He went on to disclose,”There’s is an interrogation sequence in the film. I look to escape from those pursuing me and jump out of a building. For this sequence, I had to jump from the fifth floor and it was a risky shot. I did it. The other shot was the one in which I felt as if I would die for a minute.”

Going on to give details of the risky shot, he said, “They put me in a blue drum and shut it. Then they smoked the drum. I felt suffocated and I thought for a minute that I was about to die. They never told me that they were going to let smoke into the drum.”
