State Bank of India (SBI) has extended the last date for submission of online applications for the recruitment of 2,050 Circle Based Officer (CBO) posts for 2026. Candidates can now apply till February 25, 2026.
Earlier, the deadline to apply was February 18. According to the latest notification issued by the bank, the application window has been extended by a week, offering a final opportunity to eligible candidates who have not yet registered.
SBI has clarified that the entire recruitment process will be conducted online and no offline applications will be accepted.

- Last date to print application: March 5, 2026
- Online fee payment period: January 29 to February 18, 2026
Eligibility: Candidates must hold a graduation degree from a recognised university. The recruitment is open only to Indian citizens. Age limits and reservation benefits will be applicable as per the official notification. Relevant work experience may be required depending on the specific circle or posting.
Selection Process: The selection process will consist of a written examination followed by an interview. Successful candidates will be appointed as Circle Based Officers across various SBI circles in the country.
