Ayodhya, Sep 15 (IANS) Ram Mandir Construction Committee Chairman, Nripendra Misra, on Tuesday said that the main construction of the Ram Temple in the Ram Janmbhoomi complex has been completed and added that the committee’s primary focus has now shifted to establishing the International Ramkatha Museum. He said tenders for this project would be floated from October 10.
Speaking to reporters, Nripendra Misra said, “There will be a discussion on the museum today as well. The biggest work for the museum is now about to begin. Tenders for each gallery will be issued from October 10. There are 20 galleries in total-Gallery 1, Gallery 2, and so on.”
He further said that the theme for each gallery was different and has already been decided.
“The theme for each gallery has been decided, and the storyline has also been finalised. Our Director, Sanjeev Kumar Singh, has worked very hard to prepare the entire storyline,” he said.
Misra said that videos will now have to be created using various technologies, including immersive technology, 3D technology and others.

The tender for the technology, including the hardware and software required, is expected to be issued by October 10. The tender is likely to be finalised by the end of October, after which it will take around six months to complete the galleries,” he said.
Misra added that now that the construction of the Ram temple has been completed, the focus has shifted to taking the remaining work to its logical conclusion.
“Our main focus now is on the International Ramkatha Museum. Within the temple complex, and outside the complex, there is an auditorium whose construction is currently underway. There has been a delay of around three to four months in its construction. However, we hope that it will definitely be completed by January or February,” he added.
On the temple construction, Misra mentioned that the companies’ dues will be finalised, and as per the conditions. All the companies will be given a performance bank guarantee, which will ensure that the value of the asset is maintained.
Misra who is spearheading the transformation of the International Ramkatha Museum, mentioned that the museum, once finished, will showcase the law and order systems of the last 500 years, and the life of Lord Ram.
The Ramkatha Museum was established in 1988, which collects and maintains literature and artefacts related to Lord Ram’s life.
