Instant puffed rice mixture is easy snack. This snack is less in calorie and healthy compared to other snacks. Instant puffed rice mixture is ideal evening snack. We can enjoy with a cup of hot tea or coffee. Puffed rice mixture can be call as chivada murmura, kurmura etc.

 

Spicy puffed rice is one of the favourite to me. Usually puffed rice masala or churumuri, bhel etc are famous in my native. This type of mixture is quietly silent compared to other snacks of instant puffed rice mixture.

Spicy puffed rice is crispy and crunchy snack. This recipe is combination of tempering with oil and mustard, simple masalas like turmeric powder and red chilly powder along with peanuts, coconut slices. Slices of garlic always give good aroma to the recipe. The fried curry leaves given crunchiness to every bite of mixture. You can add other nuts and masala to the mixture.

Instant puffed rice mixture can be prepared in minutes. This mixture definitely increases your taste bud. We can store one week or 15 days in room temperature. If you add onion, tomato and lime juice we cannot preserve it.

Puffed rice is good to our body because it is low in calories and enriched with vitamins and minerals. It is combination of high fibre, protein and carbs. We can easily add to our diet charts.
