Bharti Singh calls Kaju’s first Ganesh Chaturthi ‘profoundly emotional and special’

Mumbai, Sep 14 (IANS) Television personality and star comedian Bharti Singh opened up about celebrating Ganesh Chaturthi with her family.

She said that the festival holds a special place in her heart and that this year has become particularly emotional with the arrival of her younger son Kaju’s first Ganesh Chaturthi.

Bharti, in an exclusive statement to IANS, said the festival has always been her favourite as she feels the arrival of Lord Ganesha brings warmth, love and positivity to the family.

“Ganesh Chaturthi has always been my absolute favourite festival because Bappa brings a kind of warmth, love, and divine positivity that just fills your heart. This year is profoundly emotional and special for us because it marks many firsts for us.”

She added, “It is our younger son Kaju’s very first Ganesh Chaturthi. Having both our little Bal Ganeshas, Gola and Kaju, around us, watching their eyes light up with every aarti and modak, makes the festivities feel infinitely sweeter.”

The comedian also spoke about her professional celebrations, describing Our Indian Game Show with Bharti and Harssh as another significant first for the family.

“Our Indian Game Show with Bharti and Harssh is our first baby since we have built, nurtured, and brought to our audiences across the country with Sony Entertainment Television. Seeing Bappa’s immense blessings shower on us is overwhelming. Our audience’s unconditional love every single day leaves me equally speechless. Celebrating on set, surrounded by our incredible whole team, reminded me that family isn’t just at home; it’s right here on our stage, creating beautiful memories and seeking Bappa’s light together.”

Bharti’s husband and writer-producer Harssh Limbachiyaa also spoke about the significance of the festival for their family, saying Ganesh Chaturthi brings everyone together in devotion and gratitude.

“Ganesh Chaturthi is the anchor of our family because it brings every single person together in pure devotion and gratitude. Every year, we traditionally bring Ganpati Bappa home to my mother’s place and to Bharti’s sister Pinky’s house, where our families, close friends, and teams gather. But this year feels truly complete; we brought home a special Bal Ganesha idol dedicated to our own little Bal Ganesha, Kaju. Now with both Gola and Kaju running around, Bappa’s arrival feels twice as joyful and sacred.”

Harssh added that the festival is also being celebrated alongside the success of their show Our Indian Game Show with Bharti and Harssh on Sony Entertainment Television.

“What makes this year’s Ganesh Chaturthi more special is celebrating it alongside the success of Indian Game Show with Bharti and Harssh on Sony Entertainment Television. Our production team, crew, technical staff, and everyone have worked tirelessly and have put their soul into bringing the show to life. Bappa has always given us the strength to do what we love and for that we are forever thankful.”

For the uninitiated, Bharti and Harssh welcomed their second baby boy in December last year.

They are parents to a four year-old Gola aka Lakshya already.
