Bengaluru: Karnataka Minister Priyank Kharge has challenged the Congress, BJP and RSS to an open debate on allegations of foreign funding, proposing that RSS chief Mohan Bhagwat moderate the discussion.
Reacting to BJP’s allegation that the Congress was receiving funds from foreign entities, Kharge questioned the lack of evidence to support the claims. He also sought clarity on the intelligence inputs behind the allegations, raising questions about the roles of Union Home Minister Amit Shah, External Affairs Minister S Jaishankar, the Intelligence Bureau and RAW.

Referring to Rahul Gandhi’s earlier challenge for a debate, Kharge urged BJP leaders to participate.
He proposed that the discussion be held in the presence of independent media and the public, with Bhagwat as moderator. He also said Prime Minister Narendra Modi should respond to the issues raised during the debate.
