Zoe Saldana shares a glimpse of herself with a ‘bunch of girls having fun’

Mumbai, Aug 24 (IANS) Actress Zoe Saldana gave a peek into the fun and camaraderie on the sets as she shared a string of clips featuring her “bunch of girls having fun.”

From dancing and playing around with the crew between shoots to squeezing in workouts, enjoying a sumptuous post-shoot meal and getting her hair done, the actress took to Instagram to offer a glimpse of the lighter moments that kept the busy schedule entertaining.

“Just a bunch of gurls having fun,” Zoe wrote as the caption.

Saldana is one of the highest-grossing lead actors in history. She has been feted with an Academy Award, a BAFTA Award, two Critics Choice Awards, a Golden Globe Award, a SAG Award, and a Cannes Film Festival Award.

The actress began her acting career in 1999 with a guest role in Law & Order. Her first film role was in Center Stage, in which she played a ballet dancer.

She received early recognition for her work opposite Britney Spears in the road movie Crossroads and for her role in Pirates of the Caribbean: The Curse of the Black Pearl.

Saldana’s breakthrough came in the Star Trek reboot film series and James Cameron’s Avatar film series. She gained further recognition for portraying Gamora in five Marvel Cinematic Universe films, beginning with Guardians of the Galaxy.

In addition to franchise work, Saldana has also starred in films such as the comedy Death at a Funeral, the action thriller Colombiana, the crime drama Out of the Furnace, the animated comedy Missing Link, and the science fiction film The Adam Project.

On television, she starred in the romantic drama miniseries From Scratch and the spy series Lioness. The second season premiered in 2024.

Lioness follows the leader of a CIA team that enlists female operatives, who are known as Lionesses, to go undercover in the war on terror.
