The song beautifully captures the spiritual essence and folklore associated with the deity. Written and directed by Deviprasad M. Devandabettu, “Mayoda Maykare” marks Devaloka Creations’ 12th musical production and ninth devotional track.
The song was released on Saturday at the Sri Koraga Thaniyajjana Katte in Benjanapadavu, Dakshina Kannada district. Renowned singer Praveen M.S. Mangalore (popularly known as SPB) and Soumya Puttur have lent their voices and appeared in the video, adding to its devotional appeal.
The project, produced by Jayaprakash Thumbay and family, features performances by Pratiksha Bedradi, Trisha Bedradi, Nisha Bedradi, Yashwini Jarandagudde, and Charvi Jarandagudde. The graceful dance performances by Prashvi, Diya, and Charvi Bedradi have also drawn praise.
Editing by Avinash Poojary and cinematography by Deviprasad himself have been appreciated for enhancing the song’s visual and emotional depth.
Devaloka Creations has earlier produced several popular devotional numbers penned by Deviprasad, including VGC Dhyeygee, Tudar Uchchaya, Piliper, Parimala Purpa, Narajanma Pavanand, Shankara Kenande Enna Swara, Puralda Siriye, Appe Bhramariye, and Hey Maruti.
With “Mayoda Maykare,” the team continues to celebrate faith, culture, and the enduring spirit of Tulunadu’s traditions through music.
